Unconquerable Soul

Unconquerable Soul

Attempt not to break my soul
It is entangled in rigidity
My soul is fertilised by fearlessness
Stabbing the body might weaken me
But stabbing my soul is stupidity
On the part of my assailant
Tears may occupy my face
But my soul is as dry as a desert.

Tutored in the art of perseverance
I build a strong wall
Like the ancient walls of Jerusalem
Round about my soul
No Babylonian can penetrate
Agents of denudation
Dare not attempt to disintegrate my soul.

No soul can enslave my soul
I am not bonded to another
No Delilah can lure my soul
Out of its fiery den
For I am no Samson
To be deceived through slyness.

I master my fate
I coach my body
I rule my soul
Challenges may test my strength
By roaring at me in rage
No cause for panic
My soul has got the capacity
To incapacitate all foes.
